The Reader.es was a free newspaper featuring local news, events, articles and content from regular contributors.
It was a full colour newsprint publication with a print run of 20,000 copies every two weeks.
I was commissioned to setup this newspaper from scratch, designing the style, colour profiles, paragraph styles, page templates and advert sizes. I also produced all the adverts, working from client briefs supplied by the sales team
Financed by advertising The Reader.es had all the expected news page paraphernalia such as classifieds and puzzle pages.
I first produced the newspaper using QuarkXPress but migrated to the newer and more widely accepted industry standard Adobe InDesign.
