With so many elements to the big day, the couple need to decide what exactly they require of their photographer.

I always prepare for the big day by meeting with the vicar / registrar at the church / registry office well in advance to get familiar with locations available, and see where I can get the best shots. I like to familiarise myself with the family before hand too, so we are all familiar and relaxed with each other and of course to go through the days itinerary to make sure everything gets covered.
