This is where it all began - the dusty town of San Miguel. The opening scene, where Marisol is held captive, is shot in the Cabo de Gata town of San Jose at Cortijo el Sortillo and then skips to Los Albaricoques where the dead guy on horseback trots by. Adios Amigo!

 

There are scenes filmed in Tabernas as the Rojos travel cross country but the rest of the movie is filmed outside Madrid at studios that no longer exist.
However, when time permits, these locations will be found...
